The aviators’ paradise near Bad Tölz
The community of Greiling embedded in the Bavarian alpine foothills landscape is located right next to the county seat of Bad Tölz.
The Segelfluggelände Greiling glider airfield is a special attraction. Since the departure of Aeroclub München, it is mainly used by the Luftsportvereinigung Greiling aviation sports association for towing hang gliders and paragliders. Greiling also has a tennis club since 1990, the TC Greiling 1990 e. V. The Greilinger Feuerwehrverein fire department association and the Greilinger Gartenbauverein gardening association have numerous members, making an active and important contribution to village life in terms of both appearance and events. Greilinger Maiburschen e.V. is another important association that helps keep village traditions alive.
Artists both past and present like Sebastian and Peter Horn, musicians in the pop band “Bananafishbones” and Sepp Kraudn (1896–1977, Bavarian zither player and folk musician) feel very much at home in Greiling.
Greiling provides numerous accommodation options for its guests and offers delightful landscapes in summer and winter alike.
